Finding “Real” Buyers

To ensure the confidentiality and security of our clients’ businesses, we rigorously screen potential buyers as independent third-party intermediaries. Purchase Agreement

Once a potential buyer has reviewed the Information Memorandum and expressed interest, they often request additional information or documents. A BizWiz Business broker coordinates this process by liaising between the buyer and the business owner or their representatives, negotiating a conditional Purchase Agreement without yet disclosing sensitive details.




Disclosure & Due Diligence

Executing the Purchase Agreement marks a crucial milestone, but it’s not yet a guarantee of a successful sale. Buyers typically exercise their due diligence rights to verify the accuracy of the information provided, ensuring a thorough understanding of the business. This critical process can span 5 to 45 working days, depending on the business’s complexity and the volume of information to be reviewed, which may include sensitive commercial details. Our experienced team at BizWiz Business Brokers guides both parties through this process, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.




Condition Removal & Closing

After all conditions of the Purchase Agreement have been fulfilled, the parties sign the Conditions to Removed, and the escrow closing process begins. Escrow provides a secure and trusted framework for facilitating the transfer of ownership, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction. As a neutral intermediary, the escrow agent collects and distributes documents and funds according to the instructions of the seller, buyer, and broker, providing a safeguard for all parties involved. Once all documents are in place and funds have been secured, the escrow agent finalizes the transfer, and the business sale is complete.
